~~It Takes A Real Woman 2 Be Natural Because There's No Greater Beauty Than The Real You~~
lol well im glad im not the only one who is obsessively crazy wen it comes to your hair. Even though I think dreads would look nice on me, I dont think it really suits me and my personality. I do a different hair style at least once a week. I like being able to try different looks and styles and dreads are just too permanent for me. They also take a lot of maintenance to keep them looking neat, just not for me. As for hair products, I have really tried a lot of different products. I read on some websites that shea butter is great for your hair and skin, so I use Cantu hair products, which all has shea butter. Before I always had dry hair/scalp, but I now my hair is always moisturized (hope this helps). I've never heard of Miss Jessie's.

Thank you so much. I started growing my hair out about this time last year. My goal length is to have eight inches by this time next year. I'm so obsessed with it, I measure a strand like every two weeks. I'm at 4 and 1/2 is some places so thats a big deal for me. btw u have a beautiful family!
Thank you sweetie. I'm obsessed with measuring my hair also. I just moved and I can't find my ruler. But I took my half-wig off and undid my braids. I pulled my hair to see if it's grown and I'm glad to say that the back of my hair is to my shoulder. YAY! Happy growing.
Are you planning on getting dreads? My next goal is trying to figure out what hair products works for me. When I first went natural 2.5 yrs ago, I only used brown gel and water and my waves were so defined. NOW, it laughs at the gel and water. I guess the longer one hair gets, the harder it is to find moisturizing products. Any suggestions? I'm considering using Miss Jessie's products, but they are so expensive and I'm apprehensive about paying that much for products that will not work on my unknown hair type
Thank you again. Yeah I do style my own hair, thats just a passion i've always had. been doing my own hair since i was like 8 lol
Thank you. You're hair is really pretty too. Do you style your own hair?
