Ok, here's the scoop. I'm a 20 year old undergraduate student at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA! Most people start off by saying, "I'm a cool, laid back...etc" Not me!!! I'm a little shy at first when getting to know people, but I am no where near laid back, but I am cool :0) I love to go out, even though I'm not doing much of that now, have fun with friends, or just sit around and laugh the night away. I can honestly say that I'm a people person and pretty much am in a good mood most of the time. I like meeting new people with new personalities. So feel free to drop a line or two.

Now about my hair...my friend has been natural for two years now. When I first found out I was completely shocked wondering why in the world would you want a hair full of nappy hair?!? But her reasonings made so much sense. I supported her but made up my mind that I would never take that route cuz I love me some white crack. lol

May 16, 2007 was my last perm!!! LOL What made me change my mind? Several things...that fact that I can now scratch my hair WHENEVER I want, the fact that that white crack won't burn my scalp anymore :0( , the fact that I can pretty much do any style and then some with natural hair. So many more reasons why, but I'm glad she convinced me to do it, as well as another one of our friends.

I've done alot of research and have found some GREAT sites! I must say I'm excited about having a head full of nappy hair. lol My style of transitionig will be to keep braids, sew-ins, roller sets, etc in until I do the big chop (and I am extremely nervous about that day when it comes).

So ladies and gents, I look forward to this journey and cannot wait until I'm completely there!
