Words cannot express how free I am right now, i just got through washing my hair and finished chopping off the rest of the perm and i am overly excited about that! A lot of people have asked me about getting the big chop. I went to a men's barber shop in the "ghetto" after looking for a natural hair salon and finding none. when I did go into the regular salons, I felt insecure about trusting the person who was cutting my hair.They looked at me funny, made me feel unwelcomed so I left about five shops because of the ignorant and negative aura.
