Anything from A to Z. Right now I'm feeling this guy named KENNA, he's wonderful to me. N.E.R.D., Kelis, Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Jay-Z, Pharrell, Lupe, Talib, Mos Def, Faith Evans, Diana Ross, Luther, Aretha, Chaka, Alicia, Stevie, Ray, Miles, Jill, Conya, Chrisette, The Fuzz Band, Robin Thicke, anything soulful, has something to say, and worth listening to.
Movies
All Spike Lee Joints, Anything with Denzel, Omar, Mekhi, Derek, Kerry, and Halle. Probably most black movies including the ones where they put all our stereotypes on blast like Soul Plane (Loved it), besides that there are too many to name.
Books
I've read many books but I loved I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings & The Coldest Winter Ever. I'm currently reading The Color Purple & Malcolm X. Hope to be peeking my nose into the Autobiography of Angela Davis and something on the Black Panthers sometime soon.
