
alright. so i cut all the bad/split ends today.... that's the first snip.
2nd snip will be in december 2009 - after i let perm grow out (meaning i will have needed a perm for) 1 month on Christmas Day.

For me, starting over again is rejuvenating. It's more like a revival for me.
Because it's a struggle within the self, yet humbling, and altogether nuturing within the process of doing it. Taking care of yourself in general, takes a very specific amount of effort and love for yourself. It always takes endurace and patience. You have to care for it. So for about a week or so I had my hair in two strand twist, I decided to wash and condition my hair and then put in some leave in shea butter base conditioner. Then I untwisted my hair woke up the next day only to have very tightly curled....whatever.
I HATE YOU HAIR!!! Everyone else loves you but you get on my nerves. I just want my hair to do what its told. Times like these is why I remember why I was so weave crazy. At least with a weave you know that... Read More

Braids are still my favorites! I love the locs but its something about braid styles that stand out to me! I did get the cornrows and afro puff! I LOVE IT! It goes with my new found personality and transformation! I like the way ppl try and figure out if that is all your hair or wonder if they can rock the same style! The style fits my outfit and attitude about myself. I can walk into an interview with my head turned up as confident as I can stand!

I graduated last yr and still have not found a job. So, I haven't really took time to fix myself up to get ready for any interviews. So, I am finally getting a braid style that compliments my personality. Not micros but a simple braid style I can wear in different ways. Cornrows med sized with a bun on the back.
