If you want styles that will look decent with a mixture of relaxed
and natural hair (transitioning styles), try wearing styles like flat
twists, cornrows, box-braids, twist outs, or straw sets.

Do
know that having both relaxed and natural textures may will make the
relaxed ends break off, but don't panic, as the relax ends will
eventually have to go anyway.  What you will be focusing on is your
unaltered new growth, keeping it moisturized at all times with things
like oils, or some other moisturizing product.

Once you have an
amount of new growth that you feel comfortable with sporting after
cutting off all the relaxed ends off, cut it.  You may even get
frustrated before you get to the desired length and cut it earlier than
expected.  It's whatever you feel comfortable with.

Also try not to press your hair, as it can damage the hair.  Please let me know if this helps!  Thanks!
